Capital Construction Solutions (CCS), a risk management developer centering on mobile technology, has partnered with the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) to develop a mobile application with analytics that enables companies to manage the risk of slips, trips, and falls in the workplace.

The National Floor Safety Institute is an organization whose mission is “to aid in the prevention of slips, trips, and falls through education, research, and standards development.” Approximately 25,000 slip and fall accidents happen every day in the workplace.

The National Floor Safety Institute has over 2,500 members. Most are risk managers and walkway auditors. These members work throughout Fortune 500 companies. Examples include Allied Insurance, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Allstate, Walmart, Cintas, Ecolab, and 3M.

Russell Kendzior states that CCS’s new mobile app tool is a must-have tool for professional walkway auditors, as well as for property owners and insurers who need a fast and simple way to track walkway safety.

Mobile App

The National Floor Safety Institute mobile app allows companies to monitor facilities and buildings in real time. It uses a comprehensive dashboard to track slips, trips, and falls worldwide. The app includes research-based best practices. It lets users monitor results with pictures and notes. Companies can aggregate this information. They can use it to identify trends. They can also prioritize new policies and manage compliance remotely.

In addition to performing facility observations, the mobile app lets companies post procedures. Furthermore, it allows them to create a custom file cabinet. They can store and organize supporting documentation in one place. This removes paper from the process. The solution also lets companies digitize paper forms. Users can create mobile forms within the application. This feature streamlines data collection and recordkeeping.

The company sells the mobile app directly at an introductory price of $99 per user per year, and users can download it from the App Store and the Android store.

“CCS has been working with NFSI for over a year, and we are excited to integrate our mobile risk platform with the power of years of research with NFSI,” says CCS’s CEO, Cory Davis.

NFSI is the fifth risk management module released by CCS in the past 15 months. CCS launched in December 2015. Since then, it has brought four other products to the marketplace. These include CCS Safety, CCS Inspection, CCS CPM, and CCS Risk. CCS has also developed over 250,000 best practices. Companies use their risk platform across all 50 states. They also use it in five countries.
