Rob McNealy Founded Flooristics.
Rob McNealy has more than 9 years of experience in the flooring industry, as a contractor, certified inspector, walkway auditor, and expert witness. He has inspection training in carpet, hardwood, laminate and resilient floor covering, as well as substrates and subfloors.
As a contractor, he has direct experience with the installation of all major types of floor coverings in both residential and commercial settings. With a Master of Business Administration degree, and experience in government contracting, Mr. McNealy is well versed in contract and scope of work analysis.
His experience with architectural and interior design planning has honed his ability to properly specify floor coverings for different applications, and his background in safety has guided his passion for creating for safe walkways.
History of Flooristics:
- 1990 – Rob McNealy began working construction jobs while attending college.
- 1997 – Rob McNealy earned a bachelor degree.
- 2003 – Rob McNealy earned a master degree.
- 2005 – Natural Wood Floors, a general flooring installation company, was founded.
- 2006 – Rob McNealy began inspecting floors on behalf of a local consumer advocate radio show.
- 2008 – Rob McNealy became a certified hardwood floor inspector.
- 2008 – Rob McNealy founded AskAFloorguy,com, where he began blogging about flooring.
- 2011 – Rob McNealy became an Expert Witness.
- 2012 – Natural Wood Floors ceased operations due to an out of state move.
- 2013 – Flooristics was founded.
