homogeneous pvc flooringWith so many different flooring choices for commercial spaces, many business owners are turning to PVC flooring. This homogeneous sheet vinyl is a type of flooring that performs very well in business settings, especially in high-traffic areas.

Manufacturers make PVC floors from a manufactured polymer, polyvinyl chloride, and can design them to look like metal, stone, or wood. They come in homogeneous PVC and heterogeneous PVC. The homogeneous PVC is sheet flooring that doesn’t have a backing. The sheets are generally 2 meters wide, and they must be heat-welded. Such flooring is very common in supermarkets, schools, hospitals, and malls.

With homogeneous PVC flooring, it’s easy to keep it clean because the surface coat of polyurethane resists dirt and spills. This makes it not only easy to clean but practical and economical. This type of flooring is not a high-end choice, but it performs very well in commercial, business, and community areas.
